Act V

So, it has been a while since I did one of these and since the were requested specifically by a subscriber, here we go:

You know you are obsessed with Shakespeare when...

you watch your favorite acts of what ever play you are watching over and over again.

This week, in an attempt to avoid my real work, I have been watching acts 4 and 5 of Much Ado about Nothing.  This is chiefly the reason for the last post.  At other times I have watched and re-watched ALL the particular death scenes from Hamlet.

The question I pose to you is this:  What are your favorite scenes, the ones you can watch over and over without tiring of them?  What plays are they from? Why do you like them?

I think the core ethical value that is toghut in the book Seedfolks is respect. I think this because all of the neighbors, even though they do not know each other, they still respect the fact that they are people and should be treated as such. All the neighbors treat each other fairly and never desturb other peoples garden. This is why I think respect is the core ethical value that is toghut in the book Seedfolks .

Thanks for all those links! I shall have to check them out.Re: education in grneeal, I have a lot of thoughts on this and hope to do a full post on this after I get my lecture notes for tomorrow written, grocery shopping done, important email written, etc. We'll see if I get to it today! Anyway, I agree with you about the false premise thing except that it's not really so false. Based on the numbers I've seen on income with vs. without a bachelor's degree, it seems that going to college really is a requirement for a middle-class (or even non-poverty) lifestyle. The problem is that there's this unspoken agreement, that if you do go to college you will get the middle-class lifestyle, and at twenty-two. That is a big part of the problem.I think your kids are lucky to have such a wise mum!
